Widely considered as one of the best European players to play the game, and recently inducted in the FIBA Hall of Fame (2021), Giannakis has been instrumental in the development of many European and American athletes. His Basketball Academy “Giannakis Academy” will be a catalyst for the future of European basketball. The Academy partners with Coach Tom Izzo and the Michigan State University Spartans for an annual basketball camp in East Lansing, MI.
